The PSAT exam is not just a good indicator of how students will perform on the SAT and ACT Tests. Nearly $200 million in scholarships are awarded to students who achieve high scores on the PSAT exam. Scoring high on the exam opens up the door to not only the National Merit Scholarship, but other scholarship awards and admission to more colleges. While the standards to reach National Merit Semifinalist status — particularly in California — are quite high, Mann Prep has helped students to achieve this distinction with its PSAT prep program developed by founder Amar Mann.

The PSAT is essentially a shorter-version of the SAT exam though there are some important differences between the two tests. Nevertheless, preparing for the PSAT will help you get ready for the ACT and SAT tests as well.

Typically, students will need to devote 2-3 hours of time for homework in between sessions. The homework consists of worksheets, ACT practice problems and sections, and reading instruction on specific concepts which need review.

One of the biggest challenges with the ACT is finishing all four sections within the allotted time. We give you the strategies and skills to ensure you pace yourself properly and finish problems more quickly and accurately by tailoring our approach to your needs.
